I said:The left man have a hat.

better:The man on the left is wearing a hat.

言いたかったこと：左側の男の人は帽子をかぶってます。

右側の場合は The man on the right,中央の場合はThe man on the middle

I said:I usually go to bed at 12:00 p.m.

correct:I usually go to bed at 12:00 midnight(a.m.).

言いたかったこと：いつも深夜１２時に寝てます。

12:00 p.m.だと昼間になっちゃうようです。昼間に寝てるの！？ってつっこまれました。

発音

vacation[vehy-keyh-shuhn]

zとthの発音の違いが難しいですね。

z/th breeze/breathe closing/clothing zen/then

 新しい単語

get fit=healthy,strong,and able to do physical exerise without getting very tired

例：I need to get fit before the football season starts.

[体が]丈夫になる

trim down=to become thinner by losing weight

例：I feel so heaby, I am planning to trim down next month.

痩せる

I said:He can decrease his body fat.

correct: He can burn out his fats and calories.

言いたかったこと：彼は痩せることができる。

「痩せる」という単語がわからなかったので「減少する」っていうdecreaseとfatを使って表現しようとしました。

10/9

I said:There are a man and a woman in this picture.

correct:There is a man and a woman in this picture.

 言いたかったこと：絵には男と女がいます。

 男と女の二人なので複数かな？と思ってareを使ったんですが、一番目の名詞によってisかareが決まるみたいです。多分中高生レベルの文法です。

 There is a house, two trees, and a bird in the picture.
